Several United Methodist bishops are attending the Consultation on Diaspora Churches in London, England sponsored by the World Methodist Council. Over 50 participants have gathered from all over the world to determine how to accompany and support Methodists and others who are forced to migrate and seek to continue their journey with Christ and their participation in Christian community.
The delegation will share the learning and recommendations forthcoming from this consultation with the Council of Bishops, annual conferences, agencies and other bodies seeking to minister to and with migrant communities.
