Philippines bishops call for unity in The United Methodist Church

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Georgia - The Philippines Central Conference College of Bishops has issued a statement calling for a way forward “that allows respectful space for contextualized ministry, preserves and strengthens our connectional unity, and promotes vibrant United Methodist presence in as many places as possible.”

The pastoral letter addressed to United Methodists in the Philippines was released after the conclusion of the Council of Bishops November meeting held at Epworth By the Sea Methodist Center on St. Simons Island.  Attached is the full statement.
